My Glasgow based client are currently recruiting for a Team Lead/Senior Java developer to join their team on a permanent basis.

What is the role?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a very well established company and to make a tangible difference to their core development function.

With offices based all over the UK my client are currently committing to an expansion within their Java function so the candidate who takes on this role will be joining at a pivotal point and will quickly become a key member of the Java delivery function.

What skills do I need?

* The relevant candidate will have the following skills:

* Over 6 years Java Development experience

* Experience in leading Java Development projects in a hands-on capacity

* SQL and RDBMS experience

* Enterprise Java experience

* Server experience including Websphere Application Server or Netweaver

* Strong people leadership skills are also crucial for this role.

* Elements of Project Management would also be beneficial for the role.
