Java Development Team Lead - Edinburgh - £55,000

I am currently recruiting for a Development Team Leader to join a well renown Software House, working on a range of products and services.

You will be joining a team that consists of highly skilled software architects, developers, business analysts, test technicians and technical authors. As well as encouraging innovation and agility we also look to embrace the latest technologies to provide ever increasing business benefits to our customers in the UK and beyond.

You will have responsibility for the direct line management of the team so experience of managing a team of people is crucial and be accountable for the estimating and planning of the teams work.

The role requires someone with a keen people focus, experience of people management, task management skills, and the ability to achieve consistent success and enthusiasm from their people. I am looking for someone with a strong software development background, familiar with working within an agile environment along with design experience.
