Business Analyst

Our client, a leading British Defence and Aerospace company is looking for a Business Analyst for a 6 month contract to be based in Derby.

As a business analyst you will be responsible for the business analysis activities (process, data, systems and people) on the assigned projects, ensuring business objectives/requirements are clearly articulated and IT solutions - defined by the Integrated Project Team - can be traced back to those objectives.

Key Deliverable:

* Work as a member of an Integrated Project Team to scope/shape the project and identify the activities, resources, suppliers and budget required to deliver the Business outcomes, together with providing estimated effort for Business Analysis activities.

* Contributes to getting proposals into a suitable position to launch by supporting the elaboration of project mandates to articulate the conceptual solution, support model, project approach and associated ROM costs etc.

* Identifies and manages analysis risks and issues at a project level throughout the project lifecycle, to support Project Managers in enabling Sponsors to make clear decisions at Go / No Go reviews.

Required Skills:

* Proven Business Analyst with SAP experience.

* Experience in working with 3rd parties/vendors.

* Finance or MI experience would be desirable
