Programme Manager - SSC

*Setting up a Shared Services Centre

*Contract/interim role : 6-12 months

*West Midlands

Lead the planning, implementation and establishment of a Shared Service Centre for a nationwide FTSE 100 company based in the heart of the West Midlands. This company is an established and well recognised national brand who are consolidating their existing service centres into a single SSC. The programme manager will be expected to lead the drive for efficiency's to deliver this programme and also the move and set-up of a new greenfield site.

The role

As Programme Manager you must have proven experience of setting up a Shared service Centre more then once and you will be required to;

*The role will be consolidating work from existing centres into a new single centre:

*Creation of common process

*Selection of tools and IT Systems

*Configure and deployment IT Systems

*Design of physical location

*Set up of location

*Recruitment of new team

*Outline the installation and implementation requirements required for transition

*Create the overall project plan and identify key activities, milestones and owners in collaboration with PMO

*Manage the relationship and performance against plan with the solution partner

*Take the lead in engaging business stakeholders

*Provide regular updates on progress against key milestones at monthly steering meetings and as required

*Act as a conscience to the business to ensure the benefits identified are realised

*Be accountable for delivery of the programme plan on time and within budget

*Manage the programme team including a cross business virtual team of business representatives and process owners

To be considered for this role you must be a Programme Manager or possibly a Senior Project Manager (ie with significant PM experience, establishing SSC's in large complex companies). You must have experience of managing a large scale business programme that has a IT component; across a complex, fast paced business. You must also have significant Change management experience and this includes leading a complex business through a significant change and be able to demonstrate, with examples, complex and senior stakeholder management experience.
