SQL Architect - Edinburgh - £700pd

I have a fantastic opportunity that has just come available in Edinburgh - for a SQL Data Architect, offering exciting greenfield project work and the chance to work with the latest Microsoft technologies in an extremely cash-rich, tech-forward organisation.

This is a contract role looking to pay £700 per day for a 6 Month Contract

The SQL Data Architect should have experience in system design and architecture, database development using T-SQL (stored procs, triggers, views etc) and Database Administration (optimisation, performance tuning, backup/recovery etc) and have over 5 year's experience working in Scotland.

The SQL Data Architect will be working on the complete re-design of several major SQL Server database applications, and will effectively be taking ownership of the data platform for the whole organisation.

Working alongside a team of software developers (mostly .Net / SQL Server specialists), the SQL Data Architect will be expected to develop a strategic roadmap for the companies database architecture and development over the next 5 years.

If you have hands-on skills in SQL Server Database Development, SQL Server Database Administration (DBA), System Design & Architecture AND you are an excellent communicator with a flexible approach and an ambition to advance and develop yourself within a rapidly growing business then this could be the dream job for you!
