ASP.Net/C# Developer - 'True Greenfield Project' - Glasgow - up to £57K!

A Multi-Million pound business based in Glasgow are looking for a Senior .Net Developer (C#/ASP.Net) to work on a complete Greenfield project. This is a great opportunity for .Net Developers to develop their career as you will be developing the clients systems from the ground up and setting up a team around you!

The business generate a turnover in excess of 6 Billion worldwide through their various revenue streams and through the services, innovative products and distribution solutions they provide to some the biggest known players in the retail sector including Amazon, John Lewis, ASDA, Boots, TK maxx to name a few!

Ideally they are looking for a technically driven and focused Senior Developer (mid, senior or team/ technical lead) with full stack Development skills and experience. As their Senior .Net Developer you will be deciding what tools and technologies to use to develop their systems.

This role is heavily involved with Greenfield work! From start to finish you will be working on new projects as they are re-configuring and building up their systems from scratch.

Skills & Requirements

- 4+ years commercial experience of hands-on Software Development experience

- Knowledge of development best practice (e.g. SOLID principles of true OOP using

the .Net Framework)

- Skilled in C#, ASP.Net

- Entity Framework

- SQL Server/T-SQL

- Full Systems / Software Development lifecycle experience

- Excellent time management skills

- Good Communication & Co-ordination skills

Desirable skills:

- Integration/reporting skills - SSIS, SSRS

- AGILE experience - TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration etc

- Any previous experience as a Senior/Lead Developer and mentoring/line management skills
