You will be joining my client who is now part of a larger global organisation. This has allowed them to start expansion and look at new and exciting projects that will push the business forward. Specialising in producing software packages they aim to bolster their support offering by expanding their support function. As such they are looking to bring in a skilled Senior Helpdesk Analyst.

What is your job?

As a Senior Helpdesk Analyst you will be helping support the team and the business by providing support for the business as a whole. The majority of the support in this role will be based via telephone and will include customer facing support.

The ideal person

The ideas person for this role will be working in a helpdesk environment at 2nd or 3rd line that is looking to progress to a senior position. They also utilise SQL server so experience with SQL Server would be a great advantage for this position.

I don't like lists but it's important to break it down a bit:

* Two years plus in a helpdesk environment.

* Strong technical understanding in application support.

* SQL server experience.

* Working knowledge of supporting web based applications.

The following would be fantastic if you have experience in them:

* Previous experience working in a software development environment.

I hate to ask, but what will I be paid?

With this role they are looking to pay between £20'000 to £27'000 depending on experience, as with any new opportunity it's entirely in your hands to show how good you are to obtain the salary you are looking for. An excellent package is also included with this role.
