Project Manager - (Software Development, MVNO/Mobile) - Livingston - 3 month contract

Our client, a media and broadcasting giant, are currently recruiting a Project Manager with Mobile experience to join their team based in Livingston. This is a contract role, with an initial 3 month duration.

Key responsibilities:

* Working with other business and technical teams to define and quantify the Business Case for the proposed project(s).

* Working with business stakeholders to define the benefits that are required from the project(s) to be undertaken.

* Ensuring that business deliverables are appropriate to business requirements in terms of quality, cost and time-scale.

* Contributing to the prioritisation of the projects within the overall programme of work

* Developing and/or contributing to the development of the project initiation documentation, where applicable and mobilise the project.

* Ensuring a detailed project plan is developed and maintained, identifying key milestones, tasks, priorities, dependencies and responsibilities.

* Managing a team of IT professionals to time, cost & quality.

* Applying appropriate formal project management methods to the full systems lifecycle including stakeholder management, risk and issue management, scope control and project monitoring.

Key Skills:

* Project management experience working within an MVNO

* Relevant experience of Telecoms Business Support Systems

* Experience delivering technology solutions to reduce handset fraud in top end technology devices

* Experience managing the implementation of billing systems in an MVNO

* A proven ability to lead and manage teams and motivate individuals.

* Hands on management experience of delivering software development/systems integration projects

* Experience of delivering Technology projects through others and without direct control

* Previous experience of customer and supplier relationship management relevant to Technology, particularly including management of negotiations

* Project management experience on large scale or complex Technology projects

* Ability to manage a small portfolio of projects at different stages in their project lifecycle

* Excellent communication skills with proven ability to lead presentations & communicate ideas in technical, operational & commercial contexts.

* Demonstrable experience of managing project finances.

* Educated to degree level or have relative industry qualifications.
