Project Manager - PRINCE2, ITIL

An excellent new opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager with a great company based in Cambridge. You will be working on a variety of complex Project Management work activities. This will require the application of fundamental Project Management principles in a wide and sometimes unpredictable range of contexts.

Requirements for Project Manager - PRINCE2, ITIL

* Educated to Bachelors (BSc) or Masters (MSc) degree level in Information Technology or in a related field or demonstrate substantial experience in the relevant field

* Professional project management certification is desirable, such as PRINCE2

* Awareness of common IT Service Management frameworks such as ITIL

* A varied IT related background, showing experience of working with customers at all levels

* Experience of Organisational Change Management through running change initiatives

* Experience of Project Management through running large projects with evidence of budget oversight

* Advanced knowledge and practical experience in MS Office and Outlook

Responsibilities for Project Manager - PRINCE2, ITIL

* Overall responsibility for managing projects as assigned by Head of Project Services

* Assisting with the governance of the project portfolio from initiation through to project completion in relation to tracking progress and managing costs and risks

* Responsibility for the quality assurance of IT projects, and awareness of any required regulatory requirements

* Build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders at all levels within the customer community, in order to receive that all projects revived appropriate sponsorship, business effort, and support throughout their life cycle

* Ensure that rolling project plans are regularly monitored through the use of regular tracking and scheduled meetings with Project Teams, Project Boards and Project Management Office

* Managing project budgets and working with internal procurement and legal advisors on commercial work

* Responsible for creating cost estimates in relation to potential future projects in partnership with the managers within other business functions
