ICT PROJECT MANAGER

Our client a Leading ICT organisation is seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to join their team based in North Dublin and help support their clients within the Public Sector

The ICT Project Manager is responsible for managing our clients communications systems delivery projects from pre-bid stage through to contract completion, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction through delivery on time to agreed costs and quality standards

ICT Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure overall profitability of projects in line with or better than bid margins

* Track project financial status on a real time basis

* Produce an achievable project plan and agree same with customer and management to include

* project deliverables and applicable specifications, standards and work practices

* milestones, time scales and project phasing

* budget and resource plan (internal & external sub-contractors & suppliers)

* all working to Prince 2 based Project Management Methodology

* Manage supplies & sub-contractors to ensure they deliver within timescales required by project, at the correct quality levels and within agreed budget

* Set up controls to track progress against commitments and costs, including sub-project and resource reporting, reviews, quality plans, procedures and audits as necessary

* Manage project delivery on time, to agreed cost and quality standards.

* Negotiate with customer and management any required deviations to the plan at the appropriate level.

* Continually assess monitor and manage risks

* Report project status, progress and issues regularly to management and customers in appropriate agreed formats and time frames. Monitor and strive to maximise performance against plan and budget.

* Close projects upon completion and effect formal hand over to customer or other operator/maintainer

* Lead the project, enlisting the participation and support of others in achieving project objectives

* Generate and maintain comprehensive and auditable project files

* Maximise revenue opportunities within existing projects

* Liaise closely with business development to generate and develop new opportunities

ICT Project Manager Key Requirements:

* Highly experienced manager with a background in Mobile Communications technologies, telecoms and ICT projects

* 5 - 10 Year proven Project Management experience

* Experience working with clients in the Public/Government Sector

* Proven success in management of large network deployment turnkey projects

* Highly energetic self starter with ability to work with and motivate both customers, suppliers and internal colleagues

* Excellent communication and relationship management skills

* Experience working to Prince 2 Project Management Methodology

* Financial Management skills commensurate with level of projects managed

* Good level of IT literacy with experience in Microsoft Office Professional Suite and Microsoft Project or equivalent.

* Graduate level, highly mobile

* Full Driving Licence
