ERP Implementation Architect (Utilities Sector), up to £70k base salary + Car + Benefits

Who is my client?

An expanding, European ERP solution provider, with offices across the UK and Europe. With specialist solutions to a variety of interesting sectors, my client is in a positive period of growth; financially stable with a plethora of exciting projects beginning in 2016.

What do they need?

An experienced enterprise solutions architect, with core experience in ERP implementation and architecture design. Successful candidates will also hold a competent level of technical expertise surrounding ERP as a tool. Candidates with exposure to Dynamics AX ERP very much preferable.

Responsibilities of the role

- From a technical perspective, design and architect AX solutions to best satisfy a customer's requirements within the constraints and best practice guidelines.

- Analysis/ Validation of system integration, infrastructure, efficiency, migration and other non-functional requirements

- Take a leadership role within the AX Practice as a Technical AX Solution Architect to promote technical best practice.

- Responsible for Infrastructure design, ERP readiness and performance, tailored system development, and management of releases.

- Work closely with the Development Manager, the Product Manager and the Functional Architect to ensure successful and complete delivery.

- Risk Assessment surrounding project/ solution/ customer requirements, managing gap fit analysis teams along the way.

Skill set

- Proven experience as a ERP Enterprise Architect, with experience delivering several, large-sized ERP implementation projects

- A strong understanding of ERP (AX2009/ AX2012 project experience preferable)

- A competent technical understanding of ERP

- A methodical approach to system/ architecture design

- An IT related academic background (preferable, not essential)

- Experience within the Energy/ Utilities sectors (preferable, not essential)

Location

Home based, with travel onto client site when required.

Salary and Benefits

A basic salary up to £70k
