Project Manager - Luton - Bedfordshire - to £50k plus 10% bonus, package etc - Prince2 PractitionerWorking for a high-profile, Global Client, the Project Manager will lead the day to day delivery of client solutions, internal improvement and other change projects. Working for the Programme Management team, the role will provide effective management and control of tactical projects that are being delivered in this complex part of the division, providing the Head of Programmes and Projects with management of change across his areas of responsibility.

The Project Manager will be expected to undertake management of low complexity tactical work streams that form part of an E2E delivery.

Operate effective monitoring mechanisms for tracking and reporting the full costs of each of their work streams.
Manages project budget.
Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing.
Deliver continuous improvement in project management in terms of reduced cost, reduced time and sustained quality supported by robust and accurate reporting.
In conjunction with Solution Design and Delivery, deliver improvement to the accuracy of solution pricing and estimating (particularly the delivery cost and timescale elements) at the business development stage
Understands demands and pressures of the client's operation, is sensitive to client's and responds accordingly
Identifies solutions which meet client interests
Is able to competently put forward the business proposition
Assists in capture and documentation of customer-internal requirements.
Helps manage the customer interface and relationship management (providing constant feedback to the senior project team).

The successful candidate will have

Demonstrable ability to deliver defined elements of technically complex, client facing projects and programmes through the full project life cycle. Experience of contributing to projects consisting of a number of work-streams or large work-streams of complex programmes:
PRINCE2 qualified or other recognised project management qualification (e.g. APM)
Demonstrable involvement in full life-cycle change projects, including those having complex IS, organisation or operations dependencies.
Comfortable in communicating to all appropriate levels
Experience of working on projects in rapidly changing environments (but also of managing control processes to rigorously manage this change).
Planning and estimating high-level project implementation plans down to tasks and activities.
Assessing and documenting commercial and operational risk.
Strong communication skills, both written and presentation.
Facilitate and manage project meetings to cover progress, issues and risk management.
