Enigma People Solutions is recruiting a Senior Electronics Engineer interested in moving into more customer facing position.

Your role will be to work pro-actively with design, marketing, field and customer engineering teams in the definition, product development, customer system integration and production support phases of new product developments.

Key skills and experience required include:

           Strong academic training (Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification) with clear commercial experience in the area of semiconductor product development

           a strong underlying core technical competence in the areas of Power Electronics design & simulation

           lab experience evaluating and debugging power management systems

           the ability to understand and clearly articulate the requirements of the customer.

           Excellent Written and Verbal Communications Skills.

           self-motivated with a willingness to learn, good interpersonal and technical problem solving skills.

You will be joining an experienced team with many years of successful developments in power management such as DCDC converters, linear regulators, battery chargers, charge pumps, hotswap controllers, voltage supervisors, plus application specific PMUs containing combinations of these functions.

The team develops power management solutions to complement their signal chain in the industrial market, such as process control, field instruments, motor control and industrial sensing. Based primarily in Scotland and Ireland, it contains all the core functions required for new product development: marketing, applications, design, layout, design evaluation, and test development.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support specific new product developments in the role of applications engineer, with responsibility for:

           Component-level and system-level measurement of power management products

           Circuit and systems design and analysis

           Authoring data sheets, application notes, and technical articles

           Assisting Design and Evaluation engineers in measurement and debug of pre-release silicon

           Design Application circuits, reference designs, and customer Evaluation Boards

           Provide technical support to key customers

           Create and Present Training Material for Field Engineers and Customers
