Senior Java Developer - Edinburgh/Glasgow - 12 month contract / £350 - £450 per day

Spring Technology is looking for a Senior Java Developer to fulfil a contract with a Public Sector client in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. The role will be responsible for maintaining, developing and implementing components, applications and interfaces. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with cloud based systems.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

Essential skills:

*Java, Perl and Python

*HTML, CSS, JavaScript

*Previous experience of working within an Agile environment

*SQL, noSQL

*Experience of working with GIS applications

*Subversion

*Using Linux in a development capacity

Desirable skills:

*Mongo DB, PL/SQL, Flask, VMWare

*Continuous Integration tools, Hudson Jenkins

*Web technologies including Nodejs, SASS, Angularjs, Jquery, Coffeescript, Bower
