Embedded Software Engineer

An exciting and interesting opportunity has arisen to work in the defence industry as an Embedded Software Engineer to work on state-of-the-art avionics sensor systems. The role is with a leading defence company and is based at their offices in Edinburgh. If you are looking for the opportunity to make innovative contributions to a project then this position is for you. The company is looking to expand their team as they are working on a new project so the successful candidate will have the chance to make a contribution to its development over the next few years.

The successful candidate will need to have:

-Excellent C++ programming skills

-Real time embedded software experience

-Good communication Skills

-excellent problem solving

Desirable but not essential to the role would be:

-Rhapsody, VxWorks, DOORS or other similar tools

-Experience in the defence industry

The successful candidate will need to be eligible for SC Clearance.
