C++ Developer / Senior C++ Software Engineer (UNIX Distributed Systems). Global financial trading firm is seeking a talented, hands-on Senior C++ Developer with experience in multi-threading and low-latency systems. You will design, develop, enhance and maintain a highly complex enterprise Derivatives trading platform, working closely with traders, quants and the infrastructure team.

As a Senior C++ Developer you will make system architecture decisions, delivering low-latency, scalable, efficient and reliable solutions. You will assess and recommend new technologies and techniques to ensure this technology-driven company remains at the forefront of this competitive industry.

This is a dynamic team environment in the heart of the City where you will be well-rewarded for your successes and innovations.

Requirements:

*Strong multi-threaded C++ design and development experience, including C++11 / C++14

*Experience with building low-latency and scalable trading systems

*UNIX / Linux

*Good knowledge of distributed architecture systems

*Experience with profiling / optimisation of software algorithms

*Team player, personable and friendly approach

*Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities, strong logic

*Degree educated in a technical or scientific discipline
