I am currently working with a leading financial institution who are looking to recruit a Test Analyst for a 6 month contract based in Edinburgh. The main duties of the role will be:

* Be the key individual accountable for Credit Card Programme Readiness across multiple workstreams

* Implement an effective tracking and reporting mechanism for Programme readiness

* Track and Report on readiness both to project members and to senior management via high quality programme reporting

* Undertaking Test Analyst duties which will include test script preparation, test data creation, test execution.

* Defect raising.

Ideally candidates will have experience of the following:

* Experience of technical implementations in a Financial Services environment

* Ability to communicate across a range of stakeholders to identify, track and confirm Readiness deliverables for multiple implementations

* Experience of testing front-end user applications and customer communication methods (Letters, SMS, email) is desirable.

*

* Working closely with test lead to assist in the development key test deliverables.

* Experienced in defects triage, tracking, re-test and closure.

* Experienced in undertaking peer reviews and static testing

* Experience within Financial Services

* Quality Centre experience

* Test preparation/Script Creation/Data mining experience
