Programme Controls Manager
My client based in the City Centre of Glasgow have an urgent requirement for a Programme Controls Manager to come in on an initial 6 month contract. The ideal candidate will be somebody that is organised, enthusiastic and willing to contribute to all levels of the project.
This role will have two main functions, which will be split roughly 50/50. The first will be supporting the Programme team in planning and programme controls varying through to the support of the PMO function - i.e. periodic work and building up PMO governance. Due to the extent of which this role will involve liaising with stakeholders, the successful candidate must hold the ability to form effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

* Planning
* Risk guidance
* Change guidance
* Dependencies capturing
* Financial guidance
* Capital Expenditure Approval scheduling
* Programme Secretariat
* Sharepoint Support
* Workfront Support
* Project Management Document Support
* Governance Advice
* Raising Purchase Orders
* Working with the PM in meeting pack production
* Minuting Meetings
In order to be considered for this role, you will need:
* Experience with Project Management software such as MS Projects/ Primavera
* To be an advanced user with Excel
* Experience with Sharepoint
* Experience working in a PMO/Junior Project Management role
* Experience working in IT
