BI Developer SSRS - Edinburgh - £250 - £300 Per Day - 6 Month contract

BI Developer / SSRS Specialist required for a greenfield project at a financial company on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The BI Developer must have strong SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) from the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, and the ability to develop Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) solutions and SSRS / SQL Server Reporting Services experience. Additionally SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) required and any experience in the rest of the BI Stack would be an advantage but is not required.

Essential Skills:

- Having commercial SSRS experiences and built reports from scratch

- Ability to develop Online Analytical Processing (OLAP)

- Reading data from a dimensional model - Provides a unique interface into Microsoft Visual Studio so that developers as well as SQL administrators can connect to SQL databases and use SSRS tools

- Desirable Skills: - Knowledge of data-warehousing principles - SSAS / SQL Server Analysis Services - SSIS / SQL Server Integration Services - Microsoft BI Presentation Layer - SharePoint, PerformancePoint etc
