Legal Entity Programme - Project Manager/ Business Lead
Purpose
The purpose of the Legal Entities Initiative within the Simplification Programme is to eliminate dormant or surplus subsidiary legal entities. The role holder will be required to drive multiple working groups using a defined process to prepare the legal entities for elimination (by way of liquidation, strike off or de-registration).
WHAT'S ON OFFER:
RATE: £300-£370 PER DAY
LOCATION: LONDON
CONTRACT: 3 MONTHS
Key Accountabilities
* Develop and manage the plan for a portfolio of eliminations
* Manage the processes to prepare companies for elimination
* Manage external liquidator's input to the elimination process
* Build strong relationships with working group stakeholders (across a wide range of functions), anticipate issues and proactively find solutions in advance of any deadlines
* Drive resolution of due diligence and all outstanding pre-elimination actions
* Adhere to internal governance requirements
* Ensure all entity documentation is robustly catalogued in case of future enquiry
* Provide regular reporting on progress against plan
* Ensure that issues, risks, assumptions and dependencies are identified and managed
* Work as part of a small team ensuring that all administrative and reporting requirements are covered between colleagues
Experience:
* Legal or accounting qualification an advantage
* Ideally previous experience of working in large banking, finance or corporate environment
* Must have experience of engaging senior stakeholders
* Familiarity with LBG organisation would be advantageous
