This opportunity is with a major utility company, helping to deliver a complex and critical business separation and mobilisation project.
Much of the planning and preparation work within the programme has been defined, so your role will largely be concerned with implementing the following packages of work;
*Separation of existing Non-household business activities.
*Mobilisation of new Retail entity.
*Mobilisation of managed service provider to support the Retail strategy.
There are many aspects to this role, including the delivery of accommodation, staff transfers, IT infrastructure, connectivity and helping define the policies, systems and contracts, the new business requires to operate. There will also be a large amount of reporting in partnership with the central PMO and workshop facilitation, to help define and mature plans of activity. You will be working in a matrix environment, with workstream leads, interfacing with different business areas. You will also be working with a number of 3rd party suppliers and will be instrumental in delivering the mobilisation of new, critical service partners.
You need experience of managing business change (ideally separation), delivery of complex projects, a utilities or similar business background, project management practitioner accreditation (ie. PRINCE2, APM), very high quality written and verbal communication and plenty of energy.
Experience of contributing to large programmes of change and delivering, complex projects, within tight timescales; ideally within the Utilities industry or as part of a business separation programme.
