Business Solution Analyst

I am currently working with a leading logistics business who are looking for a Business Solution Analyst for a 6 month contract based in London. The project will be delivery cutting edge technologies to the wider logistics team and the main duties of this position will be:

* Apply agreed methods to carry out investigations, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions & processes, the information used & the data on which the information is based

* Lead and support the facilitation of business workshops to develop and convert business requirements into process/systems solutions taking into account IT, business and commercial drivers

* Define requirements for improving business processes and systems and quantification of potential benefits

* Propose and seek consensus on innovative business solutions

* Work with Business/Product Owners to understand and model the capabilities of the business

* Create viable specifications and acceptance criteria suitable for procurement / construction of information and communication systems

* Work with Business/Product Owners to elicit and prioritize requirements, define the product roadmap, develop our minimum viable product with corresponding storyboarding and the building and refining of product backlog

* Act as a Product Owner ambassador through being a proxy in ensuring business value is being delivered

* Support the identification, evaluation and tracking of project benefits

* Compile functional and technical specifications and elements of solution design working with architecture, infrastructure and development/vendor teams

* Ensure the quality of the analysis, requirements, specifications & acceptance criteria produced

Ideally applicants will have experience with:

* Large and complex business environments

* Data focussed projects

* Transformation/Change projects

* Managing 3rd party suppliers
