I am currently working with a leading UK logistics business who are looking to recruit a Programme Manager for a 6 month contract based in central London. It will be focussing on a specific programme that is set to deliver cutting edge technologies to the wider logistics team.

The main duties of the role will be:

* To pick up the in-flight Programme Management of the programme delivery from Business Case, working with the Business Solution Lead in the operations team.

* Responsibility for the successful delivery of the Technology elements and will support and Business Operations team in delivering the outcomes and benefits stated in the Programme Business Case and defined by the baseline scope and requirements, project plan and budget.

* The role will also have responsibility for efficient and effective two way communications within the programme team, externally with Customers and Clients, and also internally within the organisation.

* This role is required to interact with other projects and teams to ensure understanding of objectives, alignment, prioritisation and scheduling of their delivery in support of the overall project.

Ideally applicants will have experience of:

* Delivery of complex programmes within large businesses

* Logistics businesses and associated technologies (such as geo-location etc).

* Internal and 3rd party stakeholder management

* Exposure to a wide range of technology integration and implementation projects
