SAP Authorisation Consultant

Contract Role- 4 Months (room for extension)

I am currently working with an esteemed client of mine-: there is an on-going project for redesigning the SAP authorisations concept and business rules.

After the go-live (September 2016), an SOD conflicts clean-up project will follow. The SAP Authorisation Consultant will support the SAP Authorisations Officer:

In terms of the relevant skills-:

Daily activities and communication with the IT team implementing required changes:

From a technical and business point of view, analysing change requests and auth. set-up during projects, challenging the solutions proposed by IT.

Being the first line of support on matters of SAP access/concept and supporting business to identify acceptable changes to authorisations. Providing support and solutions for authorisation incidents.

Monitoring and controlling activities

Remotely supervising and coordinating the work of an external team for subcontracted activities;

Designing and implementing other improved controls and monitoring,

E.g. evolution of SOD conflicts in time (+ causes)

Regular clean-up of unused transactions

Follow-up on periodic controls such as SOD conflicts review and user access reviews

Required profile and skills:

Deep understanding of the technical SAP authorisations concept and functionality (auth. Objects, fields, etc.)

Ability to raise awareness about SAP authorisations matters;

Min 4 years of experience with SAP authorisations management, including user access management process implementation;

Understanding of SOD conflicts monitoring tools set-up (building of such queries), such as CSI Accelerator tool or SAP GRC;

Strong analytic capabilities and affinity with IT and process improvements;

Ability to form and maintain good relationships with a large number of business and technical stakeholders across all affiliates;

Ability to work independently as well as in team
