Our Client is looking for a Graduate Application Developer to join their team in Erskine on an initial 3 month contract

Essential Skills

* Experience or very good knowledge of the core development tools used - namely C#, SQL Server, Java, JavaScript, JQuery.

* Willingness to work in an application support environment with direct customer interaction.

* Understanding of ITIL processes for incident, problem, change and release management.

* Good problem solving ability.

* A self-motivated individual who can work either in a team, or individually with direction.

* Ability to articulate help call problems to other members of the team.

* Ability to apply experience and best practice to incidents, problems and changes.

* Able to pick up new skills quickly.

* Excellent communication skills.

* A good knowledge of application maintenance and support processes.

Day to Day Responsibilities

A graduate Applications Maintenance and Support Engineer providing the highest quality of customer service processing help call in accordance to strict ITIL based support processes. Support of multiple enterprise level applications developed in a variety of technologies.

Manage, investigate and resolve customer help calls through application usage, data patching or application update via regular maintenance releases.
