Our client, a leading IT Services Provider, is looking for a Graduate Business Objects Applications Support Engineer to join their team.

This is a contract position based in Erskine running initially until November 2016.

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be willing to obtain SC Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

* To work in a third line support team supporting a live Business Object Environment.

* Own and resolve incidents.

* Develop and implement Business Object fixes, upgrades and enhancements.

* Share knowledge and skills with other team members and support teams.

* Direct customer support and interaction.

* To work were necessary within a specialized change team on small Business Objects enhancements.

Key Skills:

* Willingness to work in an applications support environment with direct customer interaction.

* Some experience or knowledge of some of the following Business Object Data Server, Business Object Reports, Universe and EXCELCIUS.

* Some experience or knowledge of SQL Scripting and implementing Data Changes of varying ranges of complexity with a good understanding of complex data structures.

* Knowledge of SQL data structure design, development and data change processes.
