The Opportunity

You have the opportunity to work as a Site Manager for a specialist contractor on one of their Fit out schemes on a Student Accommodation project in Glasgow. The company specialises in Interiors and FF&E projects within residential and Student accommodation.

The contractor has a scheme in Glasgow which requires a Site Manager for circa 3 months.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

* Management of full rip puts and refit including installations.

* Managing on site labour and subcontractors

* Monitoring and implementing Health and Safety on site

* Assisting Project Management as required

Key Requirements:

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will:

* Have a minimum of 5 yearsexperience as a Site Manager

* Ideally have Refurb or fit out experience within Student Accommodation or Residential projects

* Proven track record of delivering high quality projects

* Strong communication and negotiation skills.

* SMSTS, CSCS

Remuneration:

Rate: £18 - £22 per hour

Duration: 3 months

Start date: July 2016
