Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

Based in Watford, Herts, the Company is a fast growing tech firm that offers an extensive range of IT solutions and consultancy to businesses globally. Specialising in cloud hosted services supported by Citrix, their people possess in depth knowledge of the IT software and hardware they support and the services they offer. They are a dynamic, innovative Company offering huge scope for continuous learning and career development.

They are continuously bringing on board new high end customers and now need to expand their existing team of experts. They are urgently looking to recruit an experienced Technical Support Engineer to be responsible for migrations and installations.

Responsibilities will include:

* Predominantly field based working at client sites to design and deploy a range of managed hardware and server solutions

* Responsible for upgrades, maintenance, rollouts and full installations

* As required will also provide senior support to the rest of the team with handling technical support calls and emails.

Key Skills & Requirements:

* Candidates must have experience of fully managing projects from initial pre-install meeting with clients, preparing project plans, producing documentation (including network diagrams) and carrying out all work on site.

* Must have broad and versatile technical exposure including proven experience in: Citrix, VMWare, HyperV, Microsoft Exchange including admin, troubleshooting and installing, Firewalls, switches, routers, VPN's.

* Strong networking installing, configuration and troubleshooting skills.

They are also looking to recruit a Field Technical Support Engineer to perform on site analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex hardware, software and peripheral issues. Previous Field Technical Support experience is essential. We are also always particularly interested in hearing from engineers with experience of working within a citrix environment.

Superb approach to customer service is a must, along with good problem solving abilities for all our positions. Writing and updating all technical documentation is essential.
