Release Manager - Banking
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Release Manager to join a leading Bank based near Liverpool Street in London City. This Release Manager will be solely responsible for managing all IT releases across all platforms covering a variety of business streams and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
About this Release Manager position.
As a Release Manager, you will be accountable for all project releases into the business, with responsibility for implementation planning and release deployment. As a Release Manager you will manage the full release process for releases across all platforms, supporting the change to IT services whilst minimizing the impact on operations, support, and production services. You will be responsible for facilitating the Change Advisory Board, and you will work closely with testing, support, and project management teams.
Release Manager Desired Experience:
The ideal candidate will be a hands on Release Manager with a background in financial services. You will be a confident character who can manage expectations and risk effectively, and you will be comfortable working on a variety of different projects across a number of platforms, you will require a mix of technical scripting skills (ideally Powershell) and strong Release Management experience.
As a Release Manager in this role, experience with TeamCity and Powershell is ideal and you will get full training on octopus and GIT as well as a number of other leading edge technologies.
