ALM (Atlas Lifecycle Management) Administrator

Our client, a global IT outsourcing company, is looking for an Atlas Lifecycle Administrator to join their team on an initial 3 month contract based in Erskine, near Glasgow.

1. Accountability

a. The SVT (Service Validation & Test) ALM Administrator reports to the SVT Process Owner for the fulfilment of this role.

2. Responsibility.

a. Administer and Manage the ALM setup, including the various reporting mechanisms, and modify/enhance as required.

b. To support team members in their use of ALM.

c. To manage ALM content, in particular maintaining requirements traceability and rectifying non-compliance with standards.

d. To develop/maintain standards in ALM use and to enforce those standards.

e. To develop/maintain metrics reporting from ALM as per management guidance.

f. To lead the upgrade from ALM 11.52 to ALM 12.01 and to organise testing of the new ALM (12.01) and its associated change of platform from Oracle to SQL Server

3. Skill Requirements

a. Essential skills:

(1) TD (TestDirector) / QC (Quality Center) /ALM - Administrator level

(2) Knowledge of all aspects of ALM reporting

(3) Understanding in the use of ALM Add-ins

(4) Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including macros and pivot tables

(5) Working level knowledge of SQL

(6) Knowledge of using the Workflow functions within ALM

(7) Working level knowledge of VBA within the ALM environment

(8) Flexibility to take on new roles and responsibilities within the wider SVT Team

b. Nice to have

(1) Knowledge in the use of the Site Administrator functions of ALM
