Sharepoint Team Lead / SQL / Contract / London / £500pd

My client a well respect insurance firm and they're looking for a SharePoint lead the SharePoint delivery team during a period of change. Working closely with the business and members of the team to ensure all integration project tasks are delivered on time. Whilst ensuring architectural standards are followed and solutions are fit for purpose. To manage a technical route map so SharePoint remains current and fit for business purposes

The role will entail:

User site management and oversight

To manage MS SharePoint and associated technologies (i.e. Project Server, TFS etc.), ensuring each SharePoint site meets the requirements and expectations of the users. To look for new opportunities to add value to Partnership through the use of SharePoint and deliver business cases for these.

Governance and security

To drive forwards and recommend changes to SharePoint to ensure it remains supported, compliant and relevant to the business needs of Partnership. Where issues are raised then to manage these through to satisfactory resolution.

Stakeholder Management

To ensure that stakeholders needs are understood and appropriately managed, and they are kept up to date with relevant system changes

Operational management:

To manage and control the team to ensure the provision of excellent service in line with agreed service levels

Lead manage and develop the team to ensure you have sufficient, capable resources to enable your area's operational objectives to be met

Essential Technical Requirements

* Previous MS SharePoint Administration experience in a project environment within Finance and / or IT, including introducing SharePoint to organisations

* Experience in migrating to new versions of SharePoint

* Experience of managing a platform in a regulated environment

* Experience of working with SQL server database environments; SharePoint in multi-server farm environments; Central Administration, Site Collection administration/Site administration; Infrastructure Architecture; Information Architecture and Records Management; training and supporting users; Bespoke workflow development; Web development

- Coding or Design

* Line management experience of technical resources

Extension of sites Desirable:

* Use of WCF to integrate external data sources

* Extension of sites to external users

* Full project and programme lifecycle knowledge and experience (based on recognised PM methodology)

Essential

* Degree level or above

* MCITP - MS SharePoint

* Integration with SharePoint and other platforms such as SalesForce.com

Desirable

* MCSE - MS SharePoint

* Project Server

* Team Foundation Server
