Telecoms Support Engineer - Camberley - £55K

Telecoms Support Engineer required to join my client, a niche telecoms house in Camberley. You will be working on a variety of support and pre-sales activities. This is a key role helping customers to fully utilise the capabilities of the products and realise their goals. You will be working with customers to set up system demonstrations and configure initial installations.

Skills Required:

· Good Linux experience - installation / administration / customisation

Practical experience in at least 2 of the following technical areas - experience can include troubleshooting, configuration, deployment or design

· VoIP / SIP

· Mobile air interface signalling (GSM / UMTS / LTE)

· Mobile core network signalling (GSM/UMTS - e.g. MAP / TCAP/ DTAP / M3UA / SCCP / SCTP)

· IP networking skills - including any or all of - routing, VPN, IPSec etc.

· Cisco or other router configuration experience

· Scripting skills (bash, Perl or python etc.)

Desirable Skills:-

· Coding skills would be an asset (but specific language experience is not required).
