Collections Analytics & Reporting Specialist - Leeds - £45,000 - Financial Services

The Collections Analytics & Reporting Specialist will be responsible for supporting the monitoring and reporting on the portfolio quality, forecasting future collections based on insight driven analytics and ensuring the collections segmentation and models are fit for purpose and operating effectively.

The role holder will lead contribute towards projects, to achieve the goals of the function, including target setting and inventory creation for operations, monitoring and reporting against Collections strategies and assessing their operational effectiveness. Accountable for Collections Inventory Creation & Validation, driving the execution of daily inventory and validating the outcome through exception reporting, working closely with the Collections Strategy, Control and Policy team.

The role covers the Collections lifecycle, from pre delinquency through to post charge off recoveries, across multiple brands and products.

Role:

Portfolio Quality Reporting & Analysis: Contributing to the creation of monitoring and reporting of collections strategies, ensuring the collections risk segmentation and models are fit for purpose and operating effectively.

Performance Measurement (linked to impairment) & Target Setting: supporting the development of intra month forecasting and providing insight and targets to the collections operations team on a timely basis to ensure combined impairment and collections cost targets are achieved.

Collections Inventory Creation & Validation: Will be responsible for driving the execution of daily inventory and validating the outcome through exception reporting

Team Contribution: Expected to provide analytical support to the wider collections team

Experience required:

* Creativity, energy and personal drive to succeed

* Relevant experience within a regulated financial services organization

* Strong, demonstrable experience of working in an analytics environment

* Knowledge of credit card sector and products, with a core background in risk and/or analytics
