CTO / European Account Director (Telecoms)

Global Player looking for an Account Director to manage and grow their biggest European Account. Must have a technical understanding of all things telecommunications including phone systems, cloud, wireless, systems equipment and cabling. You will be expected to have a grasp on emerging markets in this sector and be able to work with C level stakeholders to leverage business. You will be based in the UK but will be responsible for Europe and Africa so global travel is expected in the role. You will manage a small focused team delivering and supporting this customer so line management experience is expected. This is not a Sales generating role more of a Relationship Manager role but you will be expected to have all of the attributes required of a CTO, programme management, relationship management, stakeholder management, presentation skills and so on. The ideal candidate will be working for a competitor in the space like Ericsson, Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent doing a similar role.
