Security and Network Engineer - South Wales - £48,000 + Excellent Benefits

An experienced Security and Network Engineer with excellent Telecoms skills is required to provide BAU and associated change to 3rd line levels in support of customer infrastructure. My client are a global consultancy based in South Wales. The successful engineer would be primarily required to provide a BAU/Change function, but should also expect to be involved in project and modernisation activities.

The role will incorporate a broad range of Telecoms technologies and it is envisaged that the engineer have a strong technical background in Routers, Switches, Firewalls and associated security infrastructure such as encryption technologies.

Key Requirements:

- Strong Communication skills

- Equipment Configuration, Installation and troubleshooting

- Strong Background in Telecoms Security, including encryption technology

- Ability to liaise confidently with Third Parties

- Appreciation and Experience in Incident Management and Change Processes

- Flexible working - out of hours as and when required

- Able to work individually or as part of a team

- Willing to work at customer sites around the UK as and when required

- Willing to participate in regular weekly on-call rota
