Head Of IT Development (Microsoft, C#, .NET) - Glasgow - £70,000

A growing Software House based in the centre of Glasgow is looking for a Head of Development to reinvent their whole IT function.

The business have a wide range of projects and are looking for someone to help shape the technical direction of the company.

You will report directly to the technical director and be involved with the whole development process, managing and growing the team, mentoring juniors and helping ensure the work is finished to company standards.

Ideally you will have come from a Development / Architectural background as there will be a degree of hands on coding, specifically around building new platforms and leading the way in implementing new technologies.

If you are familiar with Web technologies (ASP.NET, C#, MVC, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML/CSS) then this would be a huge benefit.

The architectural side of things includes building web systems using Microsoft technologies (designing and specifying the full end to end architecture for a new website) plus much more.
