IT Application Trainer - Home Based (UK wide travel) - £40,000 - £55,000 + Car

An IT Application Trainer with strong communication and SQL skills is needed to join a very successful software house.

You will be an IT professional with strong Infrastructure skills and ideally SQL. As this is very much a client facing role you will need to hold excellent communication skills both written and verbally.

This is a role that will require UK wide travel 80% of the time with the rest being home based, therefore the York business can consider candidates based anywhere in the North.

The Role;

* Being part of the Application team you will work with clients in consulting and understanding their needs for the software, fully documenting this and then installing, configuring and training end-users on the software.

* You would be travelling to different clients sites UK wide and could have up to 10 projects on at any one time.

* This role would suit a technically strong candidate who has experience of explaining / training detailed software applications to non-technical people - such as a high level support engineer, Microsoft trainer or senior IT teacher.

Skills and Experience required:

* A minimum of 3years experience in a similar role where you have had to deliver software implementation and training to non-technical people.

* Extremely strong inter-personal and written communication skills

* Able to travel UK wide during the week with flexibility of working from home when needed

* Experience in delivering technical training to a non-technical audience

* Technical IT background with Infrastructure including LAN/WAN and IIS Server or SQL
