Web Designer - Graphic Designer

Hampshire; Portsmouth, Fareham, Chichester

£25,000 - 30,000 + Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity for a Web / Digital Designer to join a vibrant and growing business. As a Web Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of websites and digital assets for different platforms and campaigns. You will collaborate and work closely with the web team on a variety of briefs as well as having the opportunity to work on numerous large-scale web projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* You will liaise with technical teams, business stakeholders, and researchers in order to understand business design needs.

* You will work alongside an internal front-end design/development team and interact with external IT teams and stakeholders to gather requirements.

* Develop a customer-focused strategy to tackle the user requirements that arise from both large projects and smaller day-to-day work.

* Produce and present a range of UX deliverables including wireframes, prototypes, user journeys and usability reviews.

* Communicate web/digital design at all levels.

* Work closely with the front end design team to ensure the HTML / CSS assets are in line with the UX wireframes.

Skills and Experience:

* MUST have a strong design portfolio to discuss/showcase in interview

* Commercial Web Design experience

* Previous UX or User Interface Design

* Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite

* Front-end coding in HTML / CSS / SASS

* Client/Customer focussed, happy working directly with clients

* Solid understanding of UX best practice and web standards

* An excellent communicator, comfortable communicating at all levels
