Supporting a globally recognised company who are looking to grow their Central London based team , we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with AEM skills. The role is a technical, hands-on role where the person will be a skilled CQ participating in the development and / or support of their core websites and associated applications. Good day rates are on offer and we need someone to start within the next three weeks.

Job Description

Areas of Responsibility

-Work on tasks assigned to them from time to time. This is primarily design and coding of the application.

-Work closely with Business Analysts, Front End Developers and technical architects to achieve the desired functionality on the companies websites

-Ensure coding best practices are implemented in code. Where there is potential for improvement, discuss and agree these with the architects, team lead and implement them.

-Participate in peer reviews of design and code artefacts.

-Estimate work packages and projects

Skill Set/Experience

-Expert level knowledge with extensive experience designing and developing high transaction consumer facing websites using Adobe Marketing Cloud suite of products including:

o Adobe Experience Manager

o Adobe Scene7

o Adobe SiteCatalyst,

o Adobe Recommendations,

o Adobe Target

o Adobe Search & Promote

-Experience on AEM migration projects (ideally to AEM 6)

-Understanding of dynamic web applications and request/response principles as well as structured granular content items in XML.

-Experience of project work in structured, multi-discipline development teams. Proficiency with source code version management practices and tools.

-Excellent oral and written business communication skills.

Preferred Skills

-Experience in enterprise-scale data driven web applications and content management systems.

-Experience of working in Agile project teams.
