IC Design Engineer

Progressive Recruitment are working with a well-known International Technology company based in Edinburgh who are looking for an experienced IC Design Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design of new functions for wireless systems. You will use the latest CAD tools to create trial layouts, analyse layout options and power analysis.

My client are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience;

- ASIC or custom IC back-end design practices

- Layout, floor planning, chip level routing and design for test experience

- Silicon layout and power analysis tools knowledge

- Competent in carrying out verification checks

Additionally, experience of Verilog RTL, C/C++ and scripting languages would be beneficial.
