Job Title: ICT Trainer

Location: Manchester, M22

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Hours: 8:30am to 5pm with an hour for lunch. However these hours are negotiable and we would also consider part-time (pro rata) if you are the right candidate to join our forward looking team.

The firm cover every area of personal injury including public liability, occupier's liability, road traffic accidents, employer's liability, industrial disease, serious injuries and clinical negligence matters.

The firm is a LEXCEL and Law Society accredited and are a Legal 500 Leading Firm for both Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence. Six of the firm's Partners are members of the Law Society Specialist Personal Injury Panel and one of their Partners is a member of the Law Society Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel.

The firm is expanding with a successful track record of year on year growth.

Job Role:

The role of IT Trainer is to deliver high quality training to staff of all levels and to actively promote the use of different IT know-how. You will design and deliver IT Training courses to all users within the firm, with a focus on induction training.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver induction training on the use of Proclaim, Microsoft Office packages, the company Intranet, the Avaya phone system and other deployed software to all new starters plus role specific software as relevant.

* Deliver a program of continuous training to existing staff in line with identified training requirements and newly introduced features of existing systems.

* Deliver training and guidance on the use of Business Intelligence tools to aid strategic and performance management.

* Identify IT training needs through working with Senior Management and the internal IT and Development teams.

* Attend all training meetings with HR and the Training Partner and report on current projects and issues.

* Participate in user group meetings where required to understand the business and user needs to be delivered from both systems improvements and training.

* Produce new IT training material and review/update existing IT materials to support embedding of delivered training.

* Monitor the feedback given on courses and make relevant changes.

* Maintain the training records as to attendance.

* Report to Management where further training requirements may be identified for individual or teams of staff.

* Assist where required with the testing of new developments to the Proclaim system.

* Participate where required in evaluations of new software for ease of use.

* Exploring features of existing software that may be unfamiliar to current users.

The Candidate:

Person Specification;

* Experience of composing and delivering training, either one to one, through workshops or presentations.

* Able to present information to others in a clear and concise manner.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead and manage time.

* The ability to encourage and motivate people.

* Ability to tailor training packages to the level of the trainee group or individual as necessary.

* An aptitude for learning new systems and processes quickly.

Technical Skills;

Essential

* Knowledge of the Proclaim case management system.

* Familiarity with Windows 7 or later.

* Strong technical skills using Microsoft Office 2010 or later.

Desirable

* Completion of Eclipse Legal Systems relevant Proclaim training courses.

* Experience of Digital Dictation and Speech Recognition software.

* Experience of accounting software e.g. Sage, Proclaim Accounts.

* Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel.

Benefits:

* Salary - £25,000

* Hours will be 8:30am to 5pm with an hour for lunch. However these hours are negotiable and we would also consider part-time (pro rata).

* Holiday Entitlement 23 days and rising by one day every year for the first 3 years to 26 days which includes office closure over Christmas.
