Our client, a leading global telecoms organisation, currently require a Project Manager to work on an initial 3 month contract based in Glasgow.

The end customer employs a multi-supplier policy against which our customer proposes options and solutions for business case justification and approval.

There are currently circa 4 projects in train, 2 in delivery and 2 at options proposal stage totalling £1.2m.

Our client is engaged in uplifting, securing and providing new monitoring tools for their customers datacentres, LAN and networks to allow new applications, volumes and storage solutions to be built.

Further work is expected as the service requests generates additional requests as the programme progresses.

The Project Manager will be required to:

*Own and deliver one or more projects to time, cost and quality

*Interface with customer project management resources to:-

oTrack progress against deliverables

oIdentify and manage issues, risks, assumptions and dependencies

oProvide progress reports and handle change control where applicable

*Report into an overall delivery lead who will manage the programme and interdependencies

*Identify improvement opportunities

Applicants MUST have experience of working within a LAN/WAN/Data Centre environment and any background in the utilities sector would be a distinct advantage.
