This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing London - Greenwich based software company specialising in Property Management Software, and have on going website design projects. They are looking for an enthusiasm for problem solving in design and user interface/interaction, can provide support and consultation to customers where required (face to face or remotely).
The ideal candidate should have a years of commercial web design / front end development experience but a confident graduate is considered. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and a working knowledge of JavaScript is required. The position will be full time and permanent based in South East London (SE8) offices (near Greenwich/Cutty Sark).
The successful candidate will have excellent design skills, creative vision as well as basic development and front end coding capabilities, good communication skills with a keen eye for detail and an ability to be both flexible and work to tight deadlines. The candidate will also be London based.
Job Specification:
Role: Middleweight/Good Graduate Web Designer - Client Liaison
Position Purpose:
Working directly with a team of four front-end designers, and a team of backend developers and reporting to a Web Project manager.
This is a creative and technical role, from designing and building bespoke websites from scratch to supporting our valuable customers.
Client liaison - Meeting customers at their office or onsite (at their office) to take briefing requirements where necessary, or working with the customer to understand and implement their design specification
Key Responsibilities:
- Design creative for bespoke websites and digital assets
- Support the development and maintenance of website pages, digital brand assets and marketing
- Maintain creative brand guidelines and ensure consistent application across the organisation
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator (CS5)
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS
- Working knowledge of Bootstrap/responsive websites
- Understanding of JavaScript and jQuery, working knowledge is a bonus.

- Working knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress.
- Keeps abreast of latest technologies regarding web development, and looks to push technical boundaries
