SC BAU Senior Service Technician / SC / Unix / Oracle DB / MongoDB / ITIL / ActiveMQ / Zabbix / Oracle SOA / Oracle BPM / Jenkins / Puppet / CI

Location: Croydon later moving to Hursley

Duration: 6-12 Months

Rate: Market Rates

Role Information:

* My client is looking for a number of contractors to join a large Public Sector project as Senior Service Technicians.

* The role will be part of a live service centre so candidates will need to work on a 24/7 shift pattern which will be agreed at a later stage.

Required Skills:

* Experience of live service operations and a strong understanding of ITIL principles would be ideal.

* Strong Unix experience from an Admin/technical perspective is key as all work on site is on Unix.

* An exposure to various Database technologies in particular Oracle and MongoDB.

* An understanding of CI tools such as Jenkins and Puppet would be beneficial.

* An understanding of the Zabbix monitoring tool would be nice to have but it is not essential.

* Candidates should hold an active SC clearance or be eligible and willing to undergo the process.

Client Information:

* Our client is a large blue-chip IT outsourcing organisation, the role would be working on site in Croydon moving to Hursley for one of the Public Sector organisations they provide services to.
