An opportunity as a Graduate Application Support has arisen to join a creative and fast moving software house within banking finance.

You the up and coming Graduate Application Support professional would be joining a fast growing global team. As Graduate Application Support, you will be providing support to their products for their many clients. These clients include high-end investment banks and funds, and you will be speaking to people at many different levels within those companies. The Graduate Application Support role sits in a horizontal company structure and along with access to various people within their client base, you will also have easy access within this organisation as well.

This software house is looking for the Graduate Application Support Specialist to be a quick thinker and problem solver, encouraging creativity and have a friendly approach. The team is close nit, and your day to day as Graduate Application Support will be varied. There is an emphasis on quality, as you will be supporting turnkey solutions that are tailored to their client's needs all over the world in a follow the sun support environment. These products are a result of an agile environment and having had experience in working with agile sensibilities will be beneficial.

What they are looking for in a Graduate Application Support Specialist is being able to demonstrate drive, enthusiasm and discipline. As you will have access to various levels within the company, your communication and interpersonal skills will need to be top notch. From a technical standpoint, it would be advantageous to have experience within a Linux platform, Solaris, Sybase and experience with Java and/or .NET.

Key Skills:

Practical Experience with: Linux/Sybase/Java/.NET

Interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Experience within a Support role is advantageous

Having had experience with other technologies such as Jira and FIX will be beneficial
