Java Developer / Java Software Engineer (UNIX / Linux SQL). Global Tier 1 Investment Bank is seeking a skilled backend core Java Developer to join a distributed, Agile development team responsible for the banks' secure financing systems. You will work throughout the full development lifecycle to design and develop new functions and functions for these complex systems.

As a Java Developer you will work closely with traders and operations staff across the business to gain a strong understanding of their requirements, finding creative ways to solve business problems. Based in Canary Wharf, this is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will learn about financial trading systems, continuously develop your skillset and will be well-rewarded for your successes and innovations.

Requirements:

*Strong knowledge of core Java, primarily server-side development

*UNIX / Linux

*Understanding of multi-threaded Java programming

*Good knowledge of RDBMS (SQL)

*Excellent communication skills, collaborative team member
