IFRS Finance Project Manager

For an International Bank based in Amsterdam we are looking for a Finance Project Manager who is specialized in projects around IFRS. You will manage a IFRS 9 project working alongside Finance and risk teams. You will be responsible for managing the new IFRS 9 requirements, provisioning review Bank wide. You will have extensive Project Management experience and ideally a project management qualification (such as Prince2.). You have excellent stakeholder management skills and can bring people together.

Duties will include:

* Manage the implementation programme of IFRS 9 across the Bank

* Working alongside the IFRS 9 specialist to map out the IFRS 9 conversion project

* Support the implementation in its design phase which interfaces with a wide range of finance, credit risk, business and project stakeholders across all the divisional businesses

* Act as Key contact for IFRS 9 impairment, including monitoring as practice develops and working with businesses

* Worked with the Credit team in performing the biannual provisioning reviews for the Bank and help prepare findings for presentation

* Liaise closely with all divisional Finance and Credit teams, responding to any IFRS 9 technical accounting queries in a prompt manner

* Involvement in facilitating training, both preparing and presenting material on specialist IFRS 9 topics, with the assistance of the IFRS Specialist Accountant

* Producing technical papers, presentations and other documentation

Requirements:

* Recent experience (5+ years) in Project Management

* University degree and strong background in accounting/ controlling/ finance

* Experience in a banking environment

* Excellent stakeholder management skills

* Native Dutch speaking with excellent English language skills

* A high level of enthusiasm for delivering critical projects
