Senior Java Developer

Senior Java Developer, £40,000, Scotland

Senior Java Developer needed to join a leading company based in central Scotland. As a senior java developer you will be joining my client's growing development team, where your responsibilities will include designing and developing and testing web and server applications.

The successful senior Java Developer will be working as part of a team to ensure all projects and specifications are met. You will be actively participating in an agile environment and mentoring junior developers in all aspects of the development lifecycle.

Essential Skills:

*Extensive commercial experience in Java and web technologies

*Other programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Json and XML

*Good all-round knowledge of JEE application servers

*Strong relational database experience; MySQL, MS SQL and SQLite

*Jenkins and test automation with preference of Selenium

*Education to a degree standard within a related field
