A Scottish animation house is seeking a talented and inventive Maya Technical Director.

As a Maya TD you will have the opportunity to join a growing and developing company.

You will work as part of a small Research and Development team.

You will develop tools and processes in order to help process and integrate within a defined pipeline framework.

You will be responsible for debugging and testing to guarantee usability and stability, as well as mentoring artists on working with the pipeline, and documenting the tools and processes.

Key Skills include:

* Commercial experience in animation

* Visual effects experience

* Strong Maya development

* Python programming

* Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills

* Ability to work proactively

Advantageous:

* Development for Houdini

* Development of Nuke

* Shotgun or FTrack experience or other production tracking software

* Knowledge of C++

* Strong familiarity with OOD principles
