C# ASP.NET Developer - Glasgow - £50,000

A leading software house within the financial industry are looking to hire a C# ASP.NET Developer to join their offices in Glasgow.

The role is to advise on requirements and define needs for expansion of insurance software including development and build of broker to broker policy sales and direct to public. You will be involved with the development and maintenance of several projects on a Cloud environment.

You will be a confident developer with at least 3 - 5 years demonstrable commercial Web/E-Commerce Developer in a similar sector, with a skillset including SQL, VB.Net, C#, Web Services, JavaScript, ASP.NET and HTML.

Role responsibilities include

* Contribute to new development projects, delivering them from inception to completion, on time and within budget

* Preparing business reports

* Keeping up to date with emerging technologies

* Responsible for testing solutions to acceptable standards, prior to handover to system testing team

* Continually maintaining and updating existing web solutions

* Assisting with training and mentoring of other business teams

Skills & expertise required:

* VB.Net, C#, SQL, Web Services, JavaScript, ASP.NET and HTML,

* Web/E-Commerce Development

* Creating SQL - MI Reports

The salary will be circa £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependant on your skills and experience plus competitive benefits.
